Schedule & EventsThe road to the World Air Games 2009 will be paved with events aimed at promoting, testing and preparing the Games. CLOSING CEREMONYThe last competition finals, the awarding of medals to the World Air Games Champions and the Closing Ceremony of the World Air Games 2009 will be held on Saturday 13 June 2009. The official departure day is Sunday 14 June 2009. Further information on schedule, transportation and ticketing will be published on this page in due course. TEST EVENTS 2008A series of Test Events has been organised in 2008 by the LOC to gain experience with the new format of the World Air Games, test competition rules, verify the organisation and logistics provided by the LOC, train volunteers, promote the World Air Games and start involving the population.
